Scientists from the University of Medical Sciences in Iran conducted a research and they have proved the effect which one simple spice has on losing weight.
Namely, this research was conducted on 2 groups of people. In each of these groups were included 44 overweight women. In a period of 3 months these women had consultations about healthy diet. The menu was created by nutritionists and it was made of less than 500 calories on daily basis. The only difference between the two groups was that the first group consumed 140 ml yogurt mixed with cumin powder, while the other consumed the same amount of yogurt but without any spice.
The results were really amazing. After the test – period of 3 months, the first group that was consuming cumin lost about 14 kilograms unlike the second group. However, it is even more interesting that members in the first group lost up to 14, 64% more fat than those in the second group who lost just 4, 91% fat.
